This charming all-season country chalet is nestled in the Green Mountains of southern Vermont, 3 miles east of Stratton Mountain's Sunbowl. Enjoy spectacular views of Stratton, surrounded by 5.5 wooded acres. Ball Mountain Brook and a swimming hole located on the property. House amenities include:
- 2 minute walk to swimming hole on property;
- Two bedrooms on the second floor, a master bedroom on the first floor and two full baths (one on each floor);
- Fully furnished, sleeps 8 (2 twin size beds, 3 full size beds) plus 1 pullout futon;
- Gas heat, a wood burning stove, and a pellet stove;
- TV/VCR/DVD, CD player and turntable (with lots of vinyl records!);
- Super high-speed wireless broadband internet (just bring your own laptop);
- Lots of games, puzzles, videos and books for children, plus an assortment of board games for adults;

Surrounded by woods this authentic Vermont post and beam all-season cottage sits off a quiet road, 3 miles from Stratton Mountain (5 minute drive). Spectacular views of Stratton Mountain from the porch. Sleeps 6 (4 full size beds, 1 pull out futon and 1 couch).

Winter/Spring Activities in the Area Include:
- Cross-country skiing, snowboarding and downhill skiing at near-by Stratton Mountain (only 3 miles away);
- Tubing at Magic Mountain;
- Ice skating at Riley Rink at Hunter Park in Manchester (802) 362-0150;
- Snowshoeing up Stratton Mountain via Long Trail (Appalachian Trail) or through the woods of the adjacent conservation land;
- Horse back riding at the Stratton Sun Bowl Ranch or sleigh rides at Taylor Farm in Londonderry;
- Shopping at the outlet stores in Manchester, Vermont (10 miles away);
- Ice fishing in Jamaica (10 minute drive to Jamaica State Park);
- Spring Golf at Stratton; and
- Or just kick back on the porch and take in the view.
Summer/Fall Activites in the Area Include:
- Take a dip at the secluded private swimming hole on the property (Ball Mountain Brook) or at nearby Pike's Falls swimming hole on those hot summer afternoons;

- Golfing at Stratton's golf course, or attend classes at the Stratton's golf school;
- Mountain or road biking on the Vermont backroads or at Stratton Mountain;
- Hiking at Grout Pond Recreation Area, Jamaica State Park (make sure to check out Hamilton Falls) or the Long Trail (Appalachian Trail) to Stratton's peak;
- Hunting for big and small game, as well as waterfowl, is permitted at Ball Mountain Lake State National Forest;
- Tennis at Stratton's facilities;
- Summer concerts performed on the lawn at Riley Rink at Hunter Park in Manchester;
- Check out some Vermont theatre at Weston Playhouse (season runs June-August);
- Boating with Battenkill Canoe Ltd., Arlington, 802-362-2800, 800-421-5268 Located along the banks of the Battenkill, about 40 minutes away (They will outfit you with canoe, and all the gear);
- If you have your own boat, you can enjoy a beautiful stillwater paddle on Somerset Reservoir or Grout Pond; and
- If you want to stay close to home we have a horse-shoe set and lawn bocce balls.
